So I'm sitting in watching Tim Tebo bring the Gators back and something tells me look at ESPN on the internet. I was reading Tiger Woods apology for getting caught up in the game (don't shake your head, it happens to the best of us). After looking at this foolishness...I decided to look more into silly a** apologies...lol...

Here is my top list of apologies:

1. Of course, Tiger Woods- richest athlete in the world apologies for having an affair on his wife after he runs into a fire hydrant and a tree...Not only does Tiger apologize but he re-does his prenump. with his wife...I've always been Team Tiger but I personally think that was dumb...



2. The first minority president, William Clinton- apologizes to the country after eventually admitting his affair with formal assistant Monica Lewinsky, soon leading him to be only the second president to be impeached...

3. The world's most popular human fish, Michael Phelps- apologizes for smoking marijuana....ok ok ok...now not saying marijuana is a good thing or anything but what was he really doing wrong?...to each is own i guess "Big Fish"

4. Ok who remembers Kanye West ignorant ass outburst at the VMA's...smh...Kanyeezy apologies after getting on stage at VMA's to tell Taylor Swift that she didn't deserve an award over my wife Beyonce Knowles...smh...although I agree, there is a time and place for everything.

5. Sarah Palin's daughter was insulted by David Letterman in June...lol..he was joking about the raping of the 14 yr old girl...not funny, however, we all know he tells jokes...

6. The Apology of the Year goes to my fellow VA resident, Chris Brown, although I'm an advocate for not letting a female talk you down, I don't really support how he handled the situation. So now Chris is trying to rebuild his career after all his fans were women..smh..come on Breezy, make that money you can get another Rihanna...smh...

It's About that Time for T.I.

As we all know, the King is about to approach his time in jail for a year and a day.  He posted a blog on Global Grind...read and see what it says...

In a few weeks, I will begin a one-year prison sentence for being in the possession of illegal firearms. Where I come from, having a gun is just part of everyday life. But, through this painful process of going to court and being convicted, I realized that I had to make a change. I made some bad decisions. I broke the law and will accept my punishment. With deep reflection about where my life was headed, I have begun the process of redemption, and decided that before I go to prison, I want to speak to young people about responsibility as a lifestyle. I hope that through my mistakes, young people can begin to learn, as I did, that we have to put our guns down and start to give our guns back. It pains me inside to hear about so many of our people dying because of gun violence. Just in the past weeks, a 13-year old boy was shot in the head in Harlem, a 17 and 19-year old were murdered in a double homicide in Queens and a 15 year old was chased, beaten, shot and burned in Chicago.

We will gather today in Harlem, with many mentors and supporters by my side, including Rev. Al Sharpton, Russell Simmons, Kevin Liles, Political Swagger, Mobile Regime and the C.H.A.N.G.E. Initiative to share the message that now is the time. Now is the time to speak out against gun violence. Now is the time to take responsibility for our actions. Now is the time to make our communities safer. Now is the time to support good legislation, like the S.N.U.G. bill in NY. Now is the time to give back our guns. Now is the time for me to lead by example.

We can and we will do better.

I am truly sorry for the disappointment and even more sorry to tell you that you will never find the answers or what’s real, while watching “reality” tv. The concoction of lies, truth, and entertainment has been the main course on the menu you’ve been eating for quite some time my friends. However, I am confident that the truth will “come out” when the sh*t hits the fan, literally! Why don't they lock him up already?

If you didn't know, I'm not Chris Brown's biggest fan.  I mean he's a phenominal dancer and singer but this story behind him and RiRi is blowing me.  Today Chris Brown will plead not guilty in the assault case against him - but he's got a long way to go.  Los Angeles prosecutors are pushing for Chris Brown to plead guilty to a jail-mandated sentence.

Chris Brown's legal team and Los Angeles prosecutors were close to reaching a deal where Chris would have spent NO TIME in jail. But that deal was never struck. And according to a person close to the case, prosecutors are now playing hard ball - asking for Chris to spend 30 days in jail.  The only problem with this is before he went on his vacation to Miami, the prosecutors were talking community service, but now jail time?...hmmm..Sounds like they're being pretty hard on Breezy. Wonder if Batman actor Christian Bale, who was recently charged with assaulting his mother, will get the same deal...

Oklahoma women's basketball star Courtney Paris said she will give back her scholarship money if the Sooners don't win the national championship, the Daily Oklahoman reported. Paris, who made the guarantee during a speech on senior night, would be giving back close to $64,000, the Oklahoman reported. "I have a passion for our fans and university, and I want to do something special," Paris said, the newspaper reported. "That's why I put my scholarship on the table. I meant what I said." I feel like we're not missing pieces," Paris said, the newspaper reported. "If we play hard, we execute, we are a great team that can win a national championship. "If we don't do that, it won't be because we're not good enough. Now today is time to pay the piper. TI will be sentenced today and he’s expected to do a little less than a year in prison. Here’s how the Atlanta-Journal Constitution is putting it:
According to the plea agreement, T.I., whose real name is Clifford Harris Jr., will be sentenced to one year and a day.The extra day means T.I. can carve 15 percent off of his sentence with good behavior. Under U.S. Bureau of Prison rules, inmates can earn such credit only if they are sentenced to longer than a year in prison. T.I. should serve an estimated 298 days — or a little less than 10 months. He is expected to get credit for the two weeks he sat in jail after his arrest and before posting a $3 million bond.

First off, I'm going to go ahead a put this disclaimer out there.  I'm not going on NSU...I love NSU and what it does for Hampton Roads ( Hampton is better...lol).  But media takeout reported today that Chris Brown is considering NSU for college of his choice.  His mom apparently feels that a college degree is very necessary at this time.  I wonder what he would major in...probably something like Physical Education...(not saying P.E. is a bad major) but we all know that he doesn't really need the degree, however, we know his career at this point is in need of a rebound after the RIRI situation.  But lets think about the other schools in Virginia he could attend ( University of Virginia, Tech, Virginia State, Virginia Commonwealth, Old Dominion, Christopher Newport, James Madison, George Mason, HAMPTON...lol).. I just want to know why NSU...( I mean the campus is nice...) but we all know, once you get in NSU it's hard as h** getting out....get it together my n****.

Nike SB Dunk High "Gucci" Colorway

Originally scheduled to release back in 2006 as a Team Manager Series SB, Nike reportedly scrapped their plans for a “Gucci” themed Dunk High due to several complications within the participating skate camps. With less than 30 pairs in existence, they’ve quickly become one of pricier SB’s on the market. Three years later, it seems like Nike SB will finally release these beauties to select SB accounts, tagging them as a premium quickstrike drop. A release is expected in the fourth quarter of 2009. NCAA Day 1 Recap...

So...day one for the NCAA tourney was a very exciting one. The favorite team UNC beat Radform by 44 points. Memphis, Duke, UCONN, Oklahoma all won their first round games by no surprise. Last year's upset team VCU lost last night by one point to UCLA. Also, our commander and chief released his bracket on ESPN. Like any smart man, he selected UNC to win the national championship..(that's why I voted for him...smart guy). Day two is going to be nice too....check it out!!!

Yesterday, Attorney General Eric Holder signaled a change on medical marijuana policy saying that federal agents will only target marijuana distributors when they violate both federal and state law.

That means that if your State law allows for medical marijuana – like California – you’re GOOD!! Under the Bush Administration, DEA agents would actively go after Californians who were legally prescribed weed by their doctors.

Here’s what Attorney General Holder said:"The policy is to go after those people who violate both federal and state law," Holder said in a question-and-answer session with reporters at the Justice Department..."Given the limited resources that we have, our focus will be on people, organizations that are growing, cultivating substantial amounts of marijuana and doing so in a way that's inconsistent with federal and state law," the attorney general said.”

That translates into 2,984 residents per every 100,000 over the age of 12 -- or 15,120 -- according to the 2008 epidemiology report by the District's HIV/AIDS office.

"Our rates are higher than West Africa," said Shannon L. Hader, director of the District's HIV/AIDS Administration, who once led the Federal Centers for Disease Control and Prevention's work in Zimbabwe.

"They're on par with Uganda and some parts of Kenya." "We have every mode of transmission" -- men having sex with men, heterosexual and injected drug use -- "going up, all on the rise, and we have to deal with them," Hader said

I was looking for daily an update story on the internet and I found this article talking about how the state of California is thinking about legalizing marijuana. Now that's all nice and all but don't you think California is being kind of hypocritical. For this "drug" to be legalized it will mean that all the production and distribution would be taxed and charged. Now wouldn't that be something, you go to 7-11 and pick up a hot dog, candy, soda, magazine, lotto ticket, six pack and a dime bag...wtf...lol...YEA RIGHT !!! Why didn't Cali pick a drug like acid, crack, cocaine just to name a few as there way to gain money? ( Because we all know that is what this is all about) Is it because the government doesn't want to put drugs on the market that hurt the body or could kill you? If that's the case, are they saying that weed is ok...lol...wouldn't that be a sight to see...( instead of niggas calling the tree man they are calling the local canibus store). I think this story I would was funny as hell...California can't be serious...This must be my homie Arnold's proposal...lol...jk

21 Days is Over...

As a lot of you know...me, Eron, Kirk and Ty quit one of our habits for 21 days. I'm not really going to speak too much on it. However, I will say this...you would be surprised how many people want to see us break the 21 days. People that never hit me up before, hit me up trying to kick it with me...lol..FRY!!!...Me and my boys are a lot stronger then some people thought...lol...Within the 21 days, we found a new found hobby...Monopoly( not the old fashioned game)! My brother decided to buy the board game and we haven't stopped playing since....Everyday you can gurantee that we are playing Monopoly from the time we get up until the time we go to sleep. I think if we spent as much time studying as we do playing Monopoly we would all be straight A students. But I tell you what Monopoly did do....it kept us away from our habit. Oh by the way the 21 days is OVER!!!!

Rapper Fabolous may have been mentioned in a drug bust of over 500 pounds of marijuana which was found on a tour bus traveling through Arkansas on it’s way to Boston from Phoenix where the NBA All-Star Weekend took place. It seems that Arkansas State Police initiated a traffic stop on the tour bus as it was passing through the heavily monitored Interstate 40 near Russellville.

Day 1 at University of Virginia

If you didn't know, my best friend TJ goes to University of Virgina (What a smart ass right?...I know)...So me, Ty, and Mia decided to take a random ass trip up here to Charlottesville when we got out of class on Friday bumping DRAKE the entire time. I've never been up to UVA for the weekend before so...I just thought it was going to be like any other college (except HU...there's no school Hampton). So the night started pretty normal...(drinking my good friend Paul Masson and my ace Henny)....However, the rest of the night drastically changed....I met this girl from the UVA basketball team who will soon be playing in the WNBA...we started talking about cars and I asked how much she was selling her Trailblazer for....this was her response...(I'm not...if u hit me up in April, I'll probably just give it to you for free...get my name and number and we'll chat)...wtf...I think I'm still a lil geeked from that convo...for some people this may not be a big deal but if you saw my car you would clearly understand why. After we leave the house...we go to this bar ( equivalent to Rooney's times a million...it was koo...everybody was friendly as hell)..The rest of the night started to trip me the fuck out. My best friend is part of some fraternity called Theta Delta Xi (where they have a twenty thousand dollar social budget...wtf). Right! (def. not apart of the Divine 9)...lol...we end up at his Frat. house, where me and Ty started to trip...I have never seen nothing like I'm about to tell...We pull up to mansion about 4 times bigger then the KINGDOM to see some guy standing dressed up as a human "Moserolla" flip...yes...Moserolla...lmao....Once we get inside, I look to my right to see this white couple of girls locking lips. I turn back to Ty and say..."This shit is unreal"...I ask my friend to lead me to the bathroom...where I was in for another surprise. I walk in to find two girls in there...I was told that the bathroom was CO-Ed...wtf...so I'm using the urinal and I catch these two black girls trying to take a peek at my man downstairs ( at the moment I really didn't know what to think...lol)..So we continue our tour around the house. We go downstairs to like some big room and there is a band playing downstairs on the left (they were actually good) and on the right is where u go get the beer and things like that. So we go up to the third floor where some of Tj's frat. brothers live ($200 a month for rent by the way...can we say cheaper than the Harbors?..lol). They live no way like the way we live (bunk beds, couch, like three to a room). Not for me!!!...so as we sit in the room talking to one of his brothers, we look down the hallway to see a door being kicked in (NO NO NO...the real kind, like there was no inside of the door). Everybody looked and kept talking like nothing happened. That was just day one...dont' be surprised if today is even more!!!!!

Today nine years ago, one of the most important pieces of life was born. My lil brother Joshua was born. I remember it like it was yesterday. Up until this day I still call him my son because everybody says we act just alike. It's not too much I can say about how excited I am every time I see him because he's getting so old and so big. Today February 17, the greatest basketball player of all-time was born. Michael Jordan is arguably the best player ever. MJ was born in Brooklyn, NY before moving to North Carolina. The King's of Hip Hop...

Tonight at the 51st Grammy's the King's of the rap game go off. Just think about it...how often do you get to see Jay-Z, Kanye, T.I. and Weezy F. all on one stage. If you watched the award show tonight, I'm sure you were trying to get to another television to see if your T.V. was acting up because the entire performance was done in black and white (CRAZY....performance)..Clearly history was made tonight at the 51st Grammy's.
