A Day in History....
This time eighteen years ago Nelson Mandela was released from prison. He had been locked up for about twenty-seven years because of his leadership role in the movement to democracy in South Africa. President Mandela served office for South America from 1994-1999. Mandela had received over one hundred awards, including the Nobel Piece Prize in 1993.
